JOSHUA CAMPER
Senior Pastor
Pastor Joshua is a native of Oxnard. He has been involved in pastoral ministry for over twelve years. Over those years he has served in children’s ministry, youth ministry, young adults, and as an assistant Pastor helping care for and minister to God’s people. Pastor Joshua has also worked as a Facility Administrator for several trauma centers (Group Homes) in north and
south Oxnard for over thirteen years. Pastor Joshua still serves as the Campus Pastor of Hillcrest Christian School in Thousand Oaks overseeing the spiritual life while teaching high school bible and helping coach football.
Pastor Joshua has been married to his college sweet-heart Jennifer Camper for over 15 years and the two have six children together ( Jojo, Jianna, Janessa, Judah, Jubilee and Josiah).
Pastor Joshua’s heart for CC Reason for Hope is to bring the hope of Jesus Christ into the hearts of the people that they may “know the only true God and his Son Jesus Christ who He has sent” (John 17:3)
CHRIS RAMIREZ
Assistant Pastor
Pastor Chris Ramirez is a native of Oxnard and has spent the past four years serving in pastoral ministry with a genuine heart to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus. He has faithfully served youth and led young adults while also investing in students through Christian education at Hillcrest Christian School in Thousand Oaks where he teaches Bible and math. Chris is passionate about walking alongside students and families and has played a vital role in assisting with the nurturing of spiritual life on the secondary campus. Chris also helps coaching high school baseball.
Chris and his wife, Karalyn, have been married for four years and are the proud parents of their daughter, Irene (3). Together, they love serving the Lord and being part of what God is doing through the local church and the Kingdom of God.
Chris serves as an Assistant Pastor helping to shepherd and love the people. Karalyn serves in hospitality and greeting helping the people feel welcomed and loved.
